Alexander,

I can't comment to the larger crowd issue except to say that the place is very open and has a center area with plenty of tables that could be arranged to accommodate a large party. As to whether or not they would do that, I simply don't know.

Yes,the chips and salsa are fabulous but didn't any of you try the margs? They have some amazing margaritas...the cilantro margarita is my favorite but the mango and blueberry margaritas are also musts as well. Order the cilantro on the rocks with salt and order the mango frozen. The manager brought us the blueberry margarita on the rocks with both salt and sugar on the rim...WOW!
As far as main dishes go, you just need to know what to order. The Chicken Tinga is very delicous but the family platter is my favorite. A big hot plate with carne asada and chicken so tender and smokey, shrimp, jalapenos, etc...served with a big bowl of rice, their wonderful beans (not refried,) guacamole, etc... The menu says it serves 4 but I think it can easily serve 5-6.

Awsome looking photos. Those are some of the tastiest Mexican dishes I've seen yet. That pork dish has me really drooling.

Hmmm... I make chips that look similar. White corn tortillas fried in vegetable oil and sprinkled generously with salt when they come out of the fryer. My family begs me to make them and my homemade salsa. You are right, they are delish!

Another yummy post!

Your pork dish looks absolutely mouthwatering. Yum! And those chips looked just like the ones I make at home. Sounds like a real winner (save for the disappointing sauce).

I really wanted to like this place. Their chips/salsas/guac were great. So was their service. It was just their main dishes lacked much flavor, which is too bad because they've done a great job with creating a warm atmosphere.

So it's the food court next door for me, unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on how you look at it...
